Dow Corning Corp. selected PolyOne Distribution to supply medical-grade silicone products in China, Rubber & Plastics news reports.
The agreement is part of Dow Corning’s plan to expand production of health care products in the region, according to the news report.
PolyOne will provide Dow Corning with a single channel for thermoplastic and thermoset resins used in medical applications. The silicones are used in various health care applications, including medical adhesives, tubing for drug delivery systems or active pharmaceutical ingredients.
