Dow Wins Big At “Oscars Of Innovation”

The Dow Chemical Company had 21 nominations and won six times at the R&D 100 Awards, often referred to as the “Oscars of Innovation.”

And the envelope, please.  At the R&D 100 Awards, an event often referred to the “Oscars of Innovation, The Dow Chemical Company comes away the big winner with 21 nominations and 6 awards, the largest number for any single developer according to an article from Sustainable Brands. The event, held November 13 in Las Vegas, recognizes technology innovations commercialized in the past year.

Dow was recognized for its PacXpert Packaging Technology, Polyethylene Stand-Up Pouch, Acrysol RM-725 Rheology Modifier, Betamate adhesive, Endurance C4202 Insulation Compound and Solderon BP TS6000 Tin-Silver, according to the article. A seventh product from the company, Purinze UltraFiltration Module, picked up special honors in the Green Technology category.
