Lubrizol Expands Energy and Water Business Unit

Company will focus on additives for oilfield, refinery process and industrial water treatment applications.

The Lubrizol Corporation announced it is expanding its global Energy and Water (E&W) business unit, created in early 2013. Lubrizol will add additional resources including new scientists, and sales and product management staff. The company will also expand its laboratory facilities in Houston, Texas to increase R&D capability and aid specialty additives product development.

Lubrizol recently launched a new website highlighting its specialty additives capabilities for oilfield exploration, production, refining and industrial water treatment.
