BASF To Increase Copper And Copper-Chrome Catalysts Capacity

Company plans expansion to meet growing global demand.

BASF will expand production capacity to meet increased global demand for copper and copper-chrome catalysts, the company said Aug. 15.

The investments follow an earlier round of capacity-expansion projects for the copper-chrome product line that were completed earlier this year.

BASF produces base-metal catalysts, which are primarily used in petrochemical and oleochemical processing.
