The Engineering Society of Detroit will hold its fall job fair on Monday, November 10 as local employers seek to fill more than 3,000 science, engineering and information technology jobs. More than 55 engineering, technology and management companies are seeking applicants in engineering (including biomedical, chemical, civil, computer, design, energy, electrical, environmental, mechanical and software), cybersecurity, defense, design, finance and HR, according to an article in Crain’s Detroit Business.

Helping to develop battery technologies for green cars, voice recognition technology and future mobile entertainment technologies are among the positions highlighted. Hockey fans can look into positions helping to build the next Detroit Red Wings arena, according to the article. Participating companies are hiring for full- or part-time positions, internships and co-op positions.
