Award honors outstanding thesis in thermodynamics or transport properties
The European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE), Brussels, has issued a call for nominations for its Excellence Award in Thermodynamics and Transport Properties. The award, which has been bestowed three times previously, recognizes a Ph.D. thesis and associated published papers that demonstrate an outstanding contribution to the research or practice of thermodynamics or transport properties.
The award includes a prize of €1,500 and a travel grant to attend the 28th European Symposium on Applied Thermodynamics, which will be held in Athens in June 2015.
The work must have been published and the Ph.D. granted by an institution in an EFCE member country between Jan. 1, 2013 and Dec. 31, 2014. More details on the award and the nominating procedure are available at http://www.efce.info/ExcellenceAwardTTP.html.
