Stahl Buys Eagle Performance Products

Huub van Beijeren, CEO of Stahl and John Friddle, CEO of Eagle Performance, reach agreement.

Stahl, headquartered in the Netherlands, acquires Eagle Performance Products. The acquisition adds technology and product diversification to Stahl’s portfolio of process chemicals for leather products, performance coatings and polymer dispersions, according to the company. This is reportedly important in Stahl’s key market segments, such as automotive, aeronautics and home interior. The addition of water-based flame retardants opens up opportunities for technical textiles and leather products and enables Stahl to explore new market segments including hotels and cinemas, according to the company.
