EFCE Seeks Award Candidates

Group aims to honor industrial application involving process intensification

The European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE), Brussels, is seeking entries for the 2017 EFCE Process Intensification Award for Industrial Innovation. The honor recognizes a noteworthy industrial application already being piloted or used.

The award, which includes a plaque and certificate, will be presented during the 6th European Process Intensification Conference in Barcelona, Spain, October 1–5.

To be eligible for nomination, the innovation must have been developed between January 1, 2015, and December 31, 2016, and have reached at least the pilot-plant stage. In addition, the development must come from an individual or team working at a company with operations in any EFCE member country can submit a nomination.
