People On The Move: Paul Kelley Joins Allylix

Kelly becomes Allylix vice president of operations.

Renewable chemicals company Allylix has hired Paul Kelly as vice president of operations to manage manufacturing and supply chain logistics for the company.

Most recently Kelley served as vice president of manufacturing for Iogen Corporation. Kelley has more than 30 years of experience as a manufacturing executive in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and biofuel industries. For 16 years, Kelley was responsible for the operations of Bayer’s Enzyme plant in Elkhart, Ind., and was in charge of design and start up for a Bayer biopharmaceutical plant. Kelly also served as vice president of manufacturing at Martek Biosciences, where he oversaw the reengineering of a fermentation plant and two facility expansions.

Kelley holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology and a master’s in business administration from Rutgers University.
