Meissner’s SFE filter brochure highlights media options available for filtration, including PVDF, PES, polypropylene, PTFE, borosilicate glass microfiber, polypropylene microfiber and polypropylene depth. Filtration ratings can be specified from 0.04 to 99 μm to meet end user requirements.
Water and air flow rate charts are included within the literature to help provide sizing guidelines. SFE filters were designed for point-of-use filtration and small-batch processing of liquids and gases where flow requirements are less than 3 gpm (11 L min-1) or 60 scfm (102 Nm3hr-1). The SFE brochure’s ordering matrix includes all parameters available for specification, including length of filter, (2.5 in./6,4 cm or 5 in./12,7 cm) and adapter selection (industry standard 116 O-ring, 222 O-rings, 226 O-rings or a specialized SK version for retrofit of competitive housings that require a skirt-flange sealing mechanism).
