ABB Automation & Power World 2011 Breaks Attendance Record

Turnout indicates growing optimism throughout process and power industries.

The latest ABB Automation & Power World broke previous conference attendance records, indicating rising optimism in the process and power industries, ABB said.

More than 4,200 people attended the conference that took place in Orlando April 18-21.

ABB also announced the dates and venue for ABB Automation & Power World 2012. The event will take place next year at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston April 23-26.

ABB Automation & Power World is a three-day users conference and exhibition that showcases ABB’s automation and power offerings. The 2011 event included more than over 500 hours of workshops, customer case histories, partner presentations, and hands-on training sessions, as well as an exhibit hall and demonstration areas.

ABB designed its customer event for automation, robotics, industrial power and utility power users in engineering, operations, mill, plant, general management, and executive management in a wide variety of industries.
