Parker Hannifin Introduces Parprene Tubing

Jan. 29, 2016
Tubing is designed to withstand the rigors of peristaltic pump applications.

Parker Hannifin adds Parprene Tubing, a thermoplastic elastomer tubing, to the tubing offering from the Parflex Division.  Parprene Tubing withstands the rigors of peristaltic pump applications. It is reportedly flexible, fatigue resistant and abrasion resistant, making it an alternative to neoprene and rubber tubing. Parprene provides a higher operating temperature (up to 275°F/135°C) and a broader range of chemical compatibility than standard rubber and thermoplastic products, according to the company.

Parker Parprene Tubing is available in Series G for General Industrial applications and Series F for Food, Beverage and Dairy applications.  Both series are currently available in standard sizes ranging from 1/8 O.D. up to 5/8 O.D. (larger sizes available upon request).
