Sensor Enables Non-Invasive Fluid Monitoring

Electronic enhancements allow new sensor to function in multiple fluid types.

Cosense offers the SL-630 liquid level sensor for plastic containers, a non-invasive solution for monitoring fluid level in syringes, drip chambers, reagent containers, and tanks in a variety of applications. The standard product is used on plastic containers from 2” (51mm) to 8” (203mm) in diameter with a wall thickness up to 0.25” (6.35mm).

Installed outside the container to prevent fluid contamination, the SL-630 liquid level sensor can be positioned at the points of a fluid vessel being monitored by using its “Peel & Stick” adhesive interface feature. It also can be permanently integrated into OEM equipment to help ensure safe processes involving fluids.

The sensor works regardless of a container’s color, transparency, shape or size, while electronic enhancements enable it to function in multiple fluid types. In addition, mounting options such as disposable, non-disposable and flange, make the SL-360 sensor suitable for a wide range of operating environments.
