LumaSense Technologies Acquires Reliability Point's Thermal-Imaging Assets

Acquisition allows LumaSense to enhance aftermarket services and support for Gulf Coast industrial customers.

LumaSense Technologies has acquired the thermal imaging and services assets of Reliability Point. The acquisition allows LumaSense to enhance sales, support, and aftermarket services for its line of thermal imaging devices, such as infrared cameras used in industrial plants, according to the company.

Reliability Point will retain its other distribution arms, which include vibration instrumentation, precision laser systems, corona cameras, and others.

Reliability Point customers include steel, oil and gas, petrochemical, and other process manufacturers, as well as power generation companies, located in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and the Carolinas.

LumaSense develops a variety of products and services that measure temperature and gas in industrial facilities.
