Award honors scientist working on electrochemistry or corrosion
The German Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (Dechema), Frankfurt, is seeking candidates for the Hellmuth Fischer Medal. The medal recognizes work that extends or deepens knowledge about the fundamentals of electrochemistry, corrosion or corrosion protection, or its industrial application.
Candidates ideally should have received a doctorate no earlier than 12 years before the deadline for nominations, February 2015.
The medal will be presented at the 13th International Fischer Symposium, which is scheduled for Lübeck, Germany, in June 2015.
