Hydraulic Institute Offers Three-Part VSD Webinar Series

Jan. 2, 2015
The Hydraulic Institute (HI) and Pump Systems Matter (PSM) will conduct the opening session of a three-part webinar series on variable speed drives (VSDs) on January 22, 2015 at 1pm ET.

The Hydraulic Institute (HI) and Pump Systems Matter  (PSM) will conduct the opening session of a three-part webinar series on variable speed drives (VSDs) on January 22, 2015 at 1 p.m. ET.  Webinar participants will learn how to improve pump systems reliability when using VSDs.

In addition to explaining how VSDs can be used to accommodate duty cycles with variable flow and head, as well as which applications to avoid, the webinar series will discuss energy optimization, life cycle reduction, single-phase to three-phase power conversion and inrush current reduction. The schedule for the three-part webinar series on variable speed drives includes:

Session 1 – Intro & Application Considerations, January 22, 2015, 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. ET

Session 2 – Protection for VFD & Proper Output, January 27, 2015, 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. ET

Session 3 – Troubleshooting Problems with VFDs, January 29, 2015, 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. ET

Advance registration is required. HI members and standards partners receive a 25% discount off the regular registration fee for the series. For more information, visit: www.pumps.org
