Entries now open for Lifetime Recognition and Young Researcher’s Awards

The European Federation of Chemical Engineering has issued a call for candidates for two awards related to mixing — the Lifetime Recognition Award and the Young Researcher’s Award.

The Lifetime Recognition Award is bestowed every three years for outstanding contributions to mixing science and technology. It is open to people in EFCE member countries and carries a €1,500 prize.

The Young Researcher’s Award recognizes the contribution of a researcher under 35 years old who holds a Ph.D. from a European university. The winner receives a €1,500 prize as well as a travel grant to attend the awards ceremony.

Both awards will be presented at the 15th European Mixing Conference, which will be held in St. Petersburg, Russia, from June 28 to July 3, 2015.

The closing date for nominations for both awards is Jan. 20, 2015.
