Mettler Toledo Webinar Focuses On Scale-Up Of Chemical Process
Dec. 6, 2017
Online event is designed for scientists and engineers interested in leveraging data-rich experimentation in scale-up and features speakers from Merck and Takeda Pharmaceuticals.
Mettler Toledo will present a new online seminar titled “Scale-up of Chemical Process” focused on how increasing the frequency of data collection enables scientists to analyze a chemical reaction or bioprocess under actual reaction conditions without delay or gaps in understanding. The online seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at 9:00 AM ET/2:00 PM GMT.
The seminar will feature two presentations and be followed by a live question-and-answer session with the speakers:
Process Fingerprinting Tools in Development of Alkylation Reaction, Kevin Stone – Merck & Co.
The Scale-up of an Oxygen-Sensitive Miyaura Borylation, Christopher Mitchell – Takeda Pharmaceuticals International Co.
Both presenters will share a series of technical case studies.
The seminar is designed for scientists interested in chemical process development and scale-up in the pharmaceutical, chemical and petrochemical industries, as well as academia.
Many facilities handle dangerous processes and products on a daily basis. Keeping everything under control demands well-trained people working with the best equipment.
