Arkema expands Sartomer’s product offering and expertise in 3D printing with the acquisition of Colorado Photopolymer Solutions.

Arkema acquires Boulder, CO-based Colorado Photopolymer Solutions (CPS). CPS develops and markets a range of formulated photopolymer resin offerings for energy curing technology, especially for 3D printing markets.

CPS’s expertise in formulation and materials design will reportedly enable Arkema’s Sartomer, maker of photocure resins and photoinitiators, to further support its customers and partners. The acquisition will foster the development of customized and formulated additive manufacturing offerings to accelerate the design of turnkey products for the 3D printing market, according to the company. The acquisition was completed in early December 2020.
