EFCE Presents Process Safety Awards

The European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE) has named Frederica Ovidi as winner of its 2022 Excellence Award in Process Safety. The board of judges unanimously selected her PhD thesis — “Development of a Methodological Framework for the Integrated HSE Assessment of LNG Supply and Utilization Chain” — done while at the University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy, as the best submission. She will receive the award during the 17th International Symposium on Loss Prevention and Safety Promotion in the Process Industries, which will be held in Prague, Czech Republic, on June 7th.

At the same event, the EFCE and the Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering, Ostrava, Czech Republic, will present the 2022 EFCE Loss Prevention Symposium Award to Adam Markowski, a professor at the Lodz University of Technology, Lodz, Poland.
