Danish Engineering Consultants Complete Merger

Danish consulting companies Niras and Alectia complete merger.

The merger between Danish consulting companies Alectia and Niras is now complete.The merger brings more service lines, a wider field of expertise and expanded presence in the Nordic countries as well as in African and Southeast Asian countries, according to Niras.

“The goal is to generate three-figure million growth by 2020. We see this growth coming from within the hospital and process industries in Sweden and Norway, the food andbeverage industry in selected developing countries and not least through increased cooperation with key customers," says Carsten Toft Boesen, CEO of Niras.

Sustainability features in the core values of both companies, according to Boesen.
