Last week's Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show and a chat with my editor got me thinking about what breed is most loved among chemical engineers.
The show winner at Westminster was a 5-year-old Affenpinscher -- full name: Banana Joe V Tani Kazari, but his handlers just call him Joe. I've never heard of an Affenpinscher. I'm more of a mutt-loving person who doesn't care about papers. Although, I do have one purebred Golden Retriever and two that are mostly Golden. But they are all rescued from various situations and don't have the manners to prance around the ring, let alone win any contests other than who can eat their food the fastest or who can bark the loudest when someone comes to the door.
Many facilities handle dangerous processes and products on a daily basis. Keeping everything under control demands well-trained people working with the best equipment.
