Survey: Small Business Owners Want Tougher Toxic Chemicals Regulations

A majority of survey respondents say chemical industry should be responsible for toxic chemical safety.

A new poll commissioned by the American Sustainable Business Council found that small business owners nationwide show strong support for stricter regulation of toxic chemicals. 

The study examined the attitudes and opinions of 511 small business owners around the country and found that they favor requiring transparency in the chemical composition of products and holding chemical companies responsible for insuring chemicals are safe.
