Companies Support Cybersecurity Workforce Education

ARC Advisory Group and SANS Institute will collaborate to further develop and nurture the global cybersecurity community.

ARC Advisory Group, a global market research and technology consulting firm for industry and infrastructure, and SANS Institute, provider of cybersecurity training and certification, will reportedly collaborate to support cybersecurity workforce education and development for industry, energy, utilities, government, academia and infrastructure. ARC and SANS will help address the pressing need to develop and propagate new cybersecurity solutions for the emerging smart cities, smart transportation and Industrial IoT initiatives, according to ARC. This includes performing joint research to provide a better understanding of the current state of cybersecurity awareness and preparedness. 

ARC and SANS aim to foster an expanded and more aware security community through joint workshops and other activities at the 2018 ARC Industry Forum in Orlando, FL and upcoming SANS events including the 2018 ICS Security Summit.
