Heinkel Drying and Separation Group introduces a tabletop size pressure filter that allows R&D facilities to conduct filtration testing with very small quantities of material. The unit holds 1.4 liters of slurry volume; the filter area is 74sq/cm, and the maximum cake thickness is 140mm (5-1/2”). The unit can also apply pressurized heated gas to further dry the filter cake. Data collected utilizing the unit can determine the filtration performance of either filtering centrifuges or pressure filters.
