Honor recognizes significant PhD work

The European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE) has issued a call for nominations for the 2021 Excellence Award in Membrane Engineering. Awarded for the second time jointly with the European Membrane Society, the award honors an outstanding contribution by someone working on a PhD to the research or practice of membrane engineering in the process industries.

Candidates must have worked on a PhD at an institution in an EFCE member country, and published a thesis or paper between January 1, 2018, and December 31, 2020.

The award includes a travel grant of up to €500 to attend the 13th European Congress of Chemical Engineering, slated for Berlin in September 2021, where the award will be presented and the winner will have an opportunity to speak about the winning research.
