EFCE Seeks Reaction Engineering Nominees

Group issues call for entries for 2018 Excellence Award

The European Federation of Chemical Engineering EFCE), Brussels, has opened the nominating process for the 2018 Excellence Award in Chemical Reaction Engineering. The honor aims to recognize an outstanding PhD thesis in that field.

The winner will receive a certificate, a cash prize of €1,500 as well as a travel grant and fee waiver to attend the 25th International Symposium on Chemical Reaction Engineering in Florence that will be held May 20–23, 2018.

Any PhD supervisor at a doctorate-granting institution in an EFCE member country may submit an entry for a PhD thesis published between January 1, 2015, and September 30, 2017.

The 2018 presentation at the symposium will mark the 4th time the award has been bestowed since its launch in 2009.
