Masterflex introduces a design refresh for Ismatec Reglo Digital Peristaltic Pump Series. Masterflex Ismatec Reglo Digital peristaltic pumps are suited for the laboratory, with flow-driven technology that supports precision dispensing; functional versatility and a space-saving compact footprint to conserve valuable benchtop space. Compared to its predecessor, the new Reglo pumps have a wider overall flow range with the option of dosing between 0.00009- and 368-mL/min. The models offer advanced features designed to deliver fluids accurately, including anti-drip technology to help conserve valuable samples, speed ramping to better accommodate fluids with varying viscosities and touchscreen interfacing while taking up very little space (178 x 152 x 165; H x L x W, mm).
The cartridge design synonymous with Ismatec Reglo pumps is retained, with a choice of two or four channels, fitting three-stop tubing. The cartridge configurations offer a choice of six, eight and 12 rollers, allowing users to choose the optimal balance of flow rate and pulsation. Miniflex pump heads are integrated into the available options, with a choice of one- or two-channel configurations, using continuous L/S tubing. The new pumps feature a 50W BLDC motor instead of the 75W PMDC motor used in older models, reportedly allowing for powerful yet efficient performance. The pumps are suited for feed, transfer, perfusion, volume dispensing and time dispensing.
New Reglo pumps offer an easy-to-navigate and intuitive 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display for use with disposable gloves. The Android platform helps the menu structure feel instantly familiar to many users. These micro-flow (<100-mL/min) models reportedly receive MasterflexLive capability and 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11 compliancy. A secure, cloud-based platform allows users to control and monitor their pumps via a PC, tablet or smartphone. Users can ensure that valuable sample loss is minimized and safety is optimized due to the ability to control all pump parameters, including speed, flow rate and dispense volume in real-time and remotely. Push notifications provide alerts for operating conditions and error messages. MasterflexLive premium subscribers gain access to 21 CRF Part 11 and EU Annex 11 data compliance to manage data, maintain digital records and control access to data.
