Warburg Pincus Finalizes Sundyne Acquisition

Global private equity firm Warburg Pincus completes the acquisition of Sundyne, designer and manufacturer of API compliant pumps and compressors, from BC Partners Advisors L.P. and The Carlyle Group. The acquisition was initially announced on January 6, 2020. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.  Sundyne’s current management team led by CEO Mark Sefcik will continue under Warburg Pincus’ ownership.

Sundyne and Warburg Pincus have launched a 90-day transition period to formally identify areas of opportunity for developing and funding strategic initiatives that will broaden product offerings and enhance customer services globally.
