The European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE) has issued a call for nominations for its 2021 Nienow Lifetime Recognition Award in Mixing and 2021 Young Researcher Award in Mixing.
EFCE established the Lifetime Recognition Award in 2000 to honor an outstanding contribution to mixing research and practice by a senior researcher or industrial engineer. A candidate must have worked throughout his or her career in one or more EFCE member countries. The award consists of a plaque, a certificate, a €1,000 cash prize, and an invitation to the 17th European Conference on Mixing, which is slated for late June in Porto, Portugal.
The Young Researcher Award, established in 2000, aims to recognize an outstanding contribution to research or practice in mixing by a researcher less than 35 years old. The candidate must have completed a PhD in the field of mixing at a European university and currently be active in mixing research. The award consists of a certificate, a €1,500 cash prize, and an invitation to the 17th European Conference on Mixing.
