Kim Jong Un completes his first site visit of 2020 – a trip to the under-construction Sunchon Phosphatic Fertilizer Factory.

Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), North Korea’s state media, reports that leader Kim Jong Un made his first economic site visit of the new year – a trip to the under-construction Sunchon Phosphatic Fertilizer Factory, according to an article from NK News. Kim reportedly used the visit to the large, state-led construction project, which began in 2016, to tout the chemical industry.

The project remains unfinished with no deadline specified for its completion, according to the article.
