SOCMA Postpones Specialty Chemicals Show Due To Ongoing COVID-19 Concerns

Feb. 22, 2021
The emergent variant strains, the slower pace of the vaccine rollout and continued company travel bans lead to postponement.

SOCMA and partner Chemicals America have postponed the 2021 Specialty & Custom Chemicals Show due to lingering concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The organization cites emergent variant strains, the slower pace of the vaccine rollout and continued company travel bans as issues that may have impacted an in-person show in April.  The show has been rescheduled for February 2022.

SOCMA encourages attendance at its ongoing webinars and virtual events including:

  • A Biden Administration Outlook on Specialty Chemicals - February 25, 11:00 a.m. ET
  • Manufacturing Excellence Month, Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout March, 2 - 3 p.m. ET
  • Manufacturing Solutions Day 2021, March 10, 1:00 p.m. ET
