The XXII World Congress of the International Measurement Confederation (IMEKO)—a global event examining the latest issues and developments in measurement, control and instrumentation—will be held September 3-6, 2018 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The conference, hosted by the Institute of Measurement and Control and supported by a range of other professional organizations and universities, is being held in the United Kingdom for the first time in 40 years.
Centered on the theme of “Knowledge Through Measurement” and offering an extensive technical and topical program, the event will be conducted at the Belfast Waterfront Conference & Exhibition Centre.
Attendees can choose from 23 specialist tracks, interact with leading international experts and learn about the latest technologies and services from exhibitors. The lineup of speakers includes Professor Klaus von Klitzing, Ph.D., Nobel laureate in physics and Professor William D. Phillips, Ph.D., Nobel laureate in physics.
The XXII IMEKO World Congress invites experts and thought leaders to submit a paper. The deadline for paper submissions is Monday, March 5, 2018. A diverse range of technical categories are offered from measurement of electrical quantities to experimental mechanics. Accepted papers will be published in Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS).
