Honor recognizes outstanding research related to membrane engineering

The European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE) has issued a call for nominations for the 2018 Excellence Award in Membrane Engineering.

Awarded since 2009, the honor recognizes a PhD thesis or paper of a young researcher that significantly contributes to research or practice in membrane engineering in the process industries. The work must have been published between January 1, 2015, and December 31, 2017. This year, for the first time, the award is being cosponsored by the European Membrane Society (EMS).

Any PhD supervisor at a PhD-awarding institution in an EFCE-member country or any individual member of the EFCE or EMS can enter a candidate.

Nominations close on March 30.

The award will be presented at the Euromembrane Conference in Valencia, Spain, in July.
