Hydraulic Institute Names Patrick Hogg Young Engineer Of The Year

The Hydraulic Institute (HI) recognizes and honors Patrick Hogg, product manager, Nidec Motor Corporation, as HI’s Young Engineer of the Year award recipient. The award was presented to Hogg during HI’s 2016 Annual conference in Tucson, Arizona.

The Young Engineer award recognizes the efforts and contributions of engineers from member companies and Standard Partners who have made a significant impact within their current positions and have also contributed to the advancement of the work of the Hydraulic Institute. Engineers under the age of 40 are eligible for the award.

Hogg has been involved with HI since 2013. He is a member of 10 committees, an educational webinar instructor and holds leadership positions on three committees:
