Black & Veatch Teams Up With Value Of Water Coalition

March 24, 2015
The Value of Water Coalition brings together industry, trade groups, and professional services firms specializing in water and wastewater treatment and water-intensive manufacturing.

Black & Veatch joins the Value of Water Coalition (VoW), an organization whose mission is to draw attention to the nation's aging and underfunded water infrastructure. VoW aims to educate key stakeholders on the fundamental importance of water to the economic, environmental and community well-being of America.

"U.S. water infrastructure faces challenges on many fronts," says Cindy Wallis-Lage, president of Black & Veatch's water business. "Limited budgets, aging infrastructure and the need for greater resiliency in the face of extreme weather events are impacting communities nationwide. To address these threats to our water systems will require coordination at every level of government. The active engagement of people across the country is also crucial for success.”

She adds, “Black & Veatch is proud to join the Value of Water Coalition, a group working to secure our future through greater investment in reliable water systems for American homes and businesses."
