New video highlights Fire-Safe Valve Assemblies, designed to stop the flow of flammable or hazardous media during an emergency.

Essex announced a new video highlighting its Fire-Safe Valve Assemblies. Designed to stop the flow of flammable or hazardous media during a fire or emergency situation, the assemblies have applications in many industrial environments, including petrochemical, chemical and bio-fuel facilities.

Essex Fire-Safe Valve Assemblies are Factory Mutual (FM) approved and utilize FM/UL listed links. Two types of links are available: the TA Series features a thermal link; the EA Series adds an electro-thermal link for connecting with a fire alarm panel or smoke detector.

Ball valves range from ¼-inch to 4 inches and butterfly valves range in size from 2 inches through 12 inches. Custom valve assemblies are also available.
