Steam Trap Station Includes Stainless-Steel Relief Valves

Nov. 6, 2012
Series of boiler-control products serve a wide range of industries and applications including the chemical and petrochemical industries.

Flowserve has launched the Gestra TS36, the new SRK26A and SPECTORmodul -- the latest generation for drum controls in boiler plants with rapidly controllable firing equipment.

All three products, as well as Gestra product experts, will be available at the ACHEMA 2012 Flowserve booth (ACHEMA Hall 8, Stand A64) June 18-22 in Frankfurt, Germany. Designed to increase the efficiency of steam and condensate applications, these new Gestra products serve a wide range of industries and applications including the chemical and petrochemical industries (TS36), the pharmaceutical industry (SRK26A), and steam and hot water plants (SPECTORmodul).

The Gestra TS36 trap station contains features necessary for convenient maintenance and the servicing of steam traps, including color-coded hand wheels to facilitate closing and opening of the isolating valves in the correct sequence. Additionally, stainless steel relief valves allow for secure replacement of steam traps and a stainless steel test port valve allows for functional test of steam traps.

The SRK26A non-return valve was designed to prevent backflow from condensate return lines, which can disrupt the critical Sterilization-in-Place (SIP) process. Primarily used in pharmaceutical industry clean rooms, the SRK26A attaches directly to the steam trap without additional pipes or welding.

The SPECTORmodul family of products offers control applications on boilers in a broad range of operating pressures and on a variety of steam generators and condensate management systems.
