Chilworth Technology Releases 2013 Process Training Schedule

Several new courses are available.

Chilworth Technology Inc. recently announced its 2013 Process Safety Training schedule for North America. Among the new courses are topics focusing on the understanding and mitigating flash fires and explosions, dust explosion training for IH/EHS professionals, safe handling of combustible dust, introduction to QRA and practicality in emergency pressure relief design.

Offered every year are process safety training courses on explosion hazards of gases and vapors, dust explosion prevention techniques, understanding and controlling electrostatic hazards, evaluation of electrical and nonelectrical equipment for use in hazardous areas and chemical reaction hazards during process scale-up.

Several process safety webinars also are available in 2013 for CEU credit, including flexible intermediate bulk containers selection, NFPA 654-2013 update and the hazards of mixing liquid wastes.
