Webinar Will Discuss New Freeze Drying Technology

Nov. 19, 2008

Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems will host a webinar on Active Freeze Drying. The online event will be held Dec. 4 at 11 a.m. (EST).  The presentation will cover new freeze drying technology that can potentially save time and money. The presentation will be conducted by processing expert Dr. Peter van de Wel from Hosokawa Micron BV in the Netherlands.

Freeze drying has been used industrially for decades to preserve foodstuffs and biological materials, but traditional tray-type freeze dryers are slow and labor intensive. A new "Active Freeze Drying" process promises to eliminate these drawbacks. The free webinar will last about 45 minutes and feature a short question and answer session.
