Chemical companies and industrial technology providers recently announced a series of acquisitions, investments and partnerships aimed at expanding manufacturing capacity, strengthening supply chains and supporting new technologies across chemical distribution, specialty materials and data center operations.

Colonial Chemical Solutions, a division of Colonial Group, acquired Integrity Partners Group, adding the legacy businesses of Chemisphere and Chemsolv to its distribution network. Financial terms were not disclosed.

According to an emailed announcement, the acquisition expands Colonial Chemical Solutions’ footprint across the southeastern United States and adds facilities, supply chain capabilities and chemical handling expertise. Existing facilities will remain active as the businesses integrate operations.

In another deal, Arsenal Capital Partners completed the sale of Swiss-based ATP Adhesive Systems to Henkel. Terms were not disclosed.

ATP manufactures engineered adhesive tapes for medical, electronics, automotive and construction markets. Arsenal said ATP expanded its manufacturing footprint during its ownership through additional specialty tape capacity in Germany, the acquisition of Neschen Coating GmbH and the development of a new U.S. production facility.

Meanwhile, Flathead Forge invested in Houston-based Solidec as part of the company’s pre-seed financing round. Solidec develops modular systems for on-site production of chemicals including hydrogen peroxide, formic acid and acetic acid using air, water and electricity.

According to the announcement, Solidec has secured early commercial customers and recently announced a pilot project with Lynas Rare Earths in Australia for on-site hydrogen peroxide generation. Solidec said its modular reactors are designed to reduce emissions, lower costs and decrease supply chain risks by producing chemicals at the point of use.

Separately, Salute and Ecolab recently announced a collaboration focused on direct-to-chip liquid cooling systems for AI and high-performance computing data centers.

The agreement integrates Ecolab’s Cooling-as-a-Service program into Salute’s liquid cooling operations offering. According to the companies, the program combines water management technologies, coolant distribution systems and monitoring tools designed to simplify cooling system operations and reduce risks for data center operators.
