Horizon Systems acquires Industrial Components Corporation

Horizon Systems, Inc. has announced the acquisition of Industrial Components Corporation ("ICC"), a privately held Lawrence, KS company.  ICC offers a wide range of components and spare parts that are used in various bulk material handling processes in the food, pet food, chemical, aggregate and plastics industries.ICC's capabilities include sourcing of standard maintenance, repair and operational supplies (e.g., filter bags/cartridges, solenoid valves, tubing, elbows, couplings, level indicators, etc.,) and a wide array of complimentary components (e.g., rotary airlocks, valves, filters, blowers, etc.,) offered by various dry bulk material handling suppliers.Commenting on the acquisition, Horizon Systems, Inc. President Wes Kuhl said, "We believe that ICC will enable us to provide our customers a complete line of bulk material handling products and services.”Horizon Systems, Inc. specializes in pneumatic conveying systems, batching and blending systems, innovative engineering and fabrication flexibility to meet the specific process demands of its customers.  Horizon has manufacturing facilities in Lawrence, KS and Pittsburg, KS and its equipment is sold worldwide.
