New member companies include national and international manufacturers, distributors and service providers.
The Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates (SOCMA), the only U.S.-based trade association representing the specialty chemical industry, welcomed 16 new member companies. The new members were approved by SOCMA’s Board of Governors at an April 29, 2014 meeting in Washington, D.C.
“We are excited to have such a diverse group of new members, including U.S. and international chemical manufacturers, distributors and service providers within the specialty industry,” said Chuck Hinton, President of Ethox Chemicals and Chairman of SOCMA’s Membership Committee.
“Our group is following SOCMA’s lead in environmental and chemical stewardship as part of ChemStewards, and we are excited to be part of a collective voice on Capitol Hill, advocating for key issues impacting our industry,” said Jeff Edwards, President of DeForest Enterprises and Innoleo.
