Flint Hills Resources Will Cease Marysville Operations

Flint Hills Resources plans to close its Marysville, Michigan polypropylene facility.

Flint Hills Resources plans to close its Marysville, Michigan polypropylene facility and shift production to its larger and more efficient facility in Longview, Texas. It is expected to take up to six months to wind down operations at Marysville, during which time the company will consider offers to buy the facility.

The Marysville plant currently employs about 75 people. Employees are being encouraged to apply for positions elsewhere in the company or with other Koch companies where there are currently more than 3,000 open positions worldwide.
