Group seeks entries for noteworthy thesis on industrial bioprocessing

Dechema, the German Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, Frankfurt, is looking for nominations for its inaugural Industrial Bioprocess Award. This honor will recognize a PhD thesis that provides important insights for the industrial use of biotechnology.

The award, which includes a €5,000 prize, is open to relevant theses completed during 2017. The work can focus on any aspect of biochemical production of fine or bulk chemicals, or pharmaceuticals.

Entries must be submitted by January 15, 2018.
