The European Federation of Chemical Engineering has named Emmanuel Mousset as the winner of its Carl Wagner Medal of Excellence in Electrochemical Engineering.

The European Federation of Chemical Engineering has named Emmanuel Mousset as the winner of its Carl Wagner Medal of Excellence in Electrochemical Engineering. It cited his contributions to research and application of electrochemistry in environmental protection, including soil washing and industrial and urban wastewater treatment and reuse. His current research focuses on advanced hybrid electrocatalytic wastewater treatment.
Mousset is a senior researcher at the Reactions and Chemical Engineering Laboratory at the University of Lorraine, Nancy, France.
The award will be presented in mid-June during the 12th European Symposium on Electrochemical Engineering, which is being held online. Mousset will receive a medal and a €1,500 prize.
