German group also changes its organizational structure
Andreas Förster
The German Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (DECHEMA), Frankfurt, has appointed Andreas Förster as executive director. He had served as deputy executive director since 2010.
DECHEMA also announced a reorganization into two divisions.
Katherin Rübberdt will manage the “science and industry” division and succeed Förster as general manager of ProcessNet. All content-related activities fall under her purview.
Dirk Rühl will head a new “services” division that encompasses human resources, finance, event organization, etc.
