As of the beginning of April, an estimated 20% of the country’s chemical companies had incurred damage of some kind.

The chemical sector in Ukraine is struggling to survive under the ongoing impact of Russian military aggression, according to an article from Chemistry World.  The Ukrainian Chemists Union (UCU) estimates that up to 20% of the country’s chemical companies had incurred damage of some kind as of the start of April.

According to the article, some companies in safer regions are still operational albeit often with limited manufacturing capacity.
