These technologies address environmental and sustainability challenges as well as the ongoing pandemic, according to an article from ChemistryWorld.
An independent panel of experts reportedly endeavored to select diverse technologies with the greatest potential impact. The list includes blockchain technology, sonochemical coatings to prevent the spread of pathogens and sustainable ammonia production designed to significantly reduce the CO2 emissions involved in fertilizer production.
