After three years, BASF has completed work on its Beaumont, Texas plant, according to an article from the Houston Business Journal. The expansion reportedly included $270 million in improvements over the past three years.
According to the article, eight other BASF agricultural product sites in North America have gotten similar expansion projects. The investment in the Beaumont plant reportedly represents nearly half of the total investment across the nine sites. The Beaumont site is also the largest of the nine and reportedly the only facility in the U.S. to manufacture the herbicide dicamba.
